YBA
YBA is named after its founder Yves-Bernard Andres and started in 1981; a frustrated musician, Yves-Bernard was unable to hear the true sound of what he heard when he played. From the specialised custom resistors and capacitors that YBA use, to the unique double C core transformers that YBA manufacture in house, it makes sense then that YBA refer to their amplifiers and compact disc players as instruments. They are part of the performance rather than just there to reproduce notes.
